Review of Meredith Moore's page
editWow! This outline is quite extensive. Since this is a profession I plan to obtain this article was a great read. The layout of the page makes sense, moving from the definition of the position to the responsibilities and education and so on.
The section I found confusing is the first section describing Registrar (Museum), Museum Registrar and Registrar. This seemed repetitive and I was not clear about the differences between the three distinctions.
In the Responsibilities section you devote some text to risk factors. In other descriptions I have read so many of the other duties, including documenting, tracking and packing are the highlights of the position whereas risk factors are mentioned little and not really elaborated on. I think this paragraph is very important to include (and maybe increased?).
Also in the Responsibilities section you begin a paragraph (after the bulleted list) with a sentence that seems to indicate a history of the profession. It is only the one sentence but I was really getting interested in reading about the evolution of Collection Management in museums. Maybe adding a subsection of History would be good.
Registrars can deal with some ethical issues so I really liked that you put in an Ethical section.
Finally, I would like to see more photos. You mention adding “a great pic” in the Education and Training section, maybe adding another would help make the page more appealing and help break up the long sections of text.
Great job Meredith! Jdolsson10 (talk) 16:40, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
