Discontinued?
editThere's no mention in this article of these stamps having been discontinued, yet it's years (decades?) since I've seen one. Have they been discontinued? If so, the article should say. Mooretwin (talk) 09:26, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Title

- On wikipedia we use the WP:COMMONNAME for article titles. The vast majority of philatelic references are to stamps of Great Britain and not to the United Kingdom. Perhaps these two worldcat.org searches confirm the point; Great Britain stamps gives 2,236 returns compared to United Kingdom stamps with only 87 results and many on this shorter result list are not even stamp catalogues by well known or popular companies. ww2censor (talk) 15:53, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
ww2censor and I were discussing the merger between this article and Country Definitives, which I'm about to merge into this article (and carry out a little tidy-up - can't help the citations right now, but I can look at that another time, main thing is factual accuracy). This is the last thing he said on the subject from the old Talk Page:
- Perhaps you should first merge this to the Regional Definitives page, remembering to copy over the posts from this talk page and then have an admin move it to this title, otherwise you lose the history of the original Regional Definitives page. ww2censor (talk) 14:06, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Arranging rename, and I've tidied up the citations problem. Main thing on the citations is that the information is pretty much straight out of the SG concise stamp catalogue anyway... AndyB (talk) 14:32, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
