Proposal of changing redirect to Merit (Buddhism) edit

The current redirect from Field of merit to this article is dubious, because the term field of merit is a general term in many Buddhist traditions, both Theravada as Mahayana. It is certainly not confined to the content matter of the page it is redirecting to now. I propose to redirect the article to Merit (Buddhism) instead, in which a separate section is written about this subject, pertaining to both Mahayana and Theravada. No problem, please rectify this as you see fit. Thanks! Wyang (talk) 23:19, 30 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, it is incorrect to say that the third school of Tibetan Buddhism is "Karma Kagyu", as it is only one of many Kagyu lineages. Please Change to just "Kagyu" in the headline and introduce the paragraph with something like "As one lineage of the Kagyu traditions, the Karma Karma Kagyu tradition ... See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kagyu on this page, too, the title below the first picture should rather read "Karma Kagyu refuge tree". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 113.165.167.78 (talk) 04:01, 14 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
