LTE Band 20 (800MHz) and "International version" edit
One of the big differences in models is the option to support LTE band 20 (800MHz) which is of major importance for the usage of LTE networks in Europe. It seems that the mido models are NOT all the same. I.e. the mido based "Note 4 (international version)" is NOT exactly the same, as the mido based "Note 4X". - Actually you are not exactly right... for eg in India they have it under RMN4 name too but it has completely different modem than European and Chinese versions.. it varies a lot depending on the region and a side note: a lot of brands meant for Europe do not support 800mhz, in fact half of the internet providers do not support it it. In reality it is a minor, hard to see difference overused in paid blogs and adds.
To sum up it's not worth the hassle to collect all the modem versions there are and where are they sold. In the EU u can go either with chinese or local variant and u will be fine. All the essential info are present and if you need to know which modem is there, you need to check when buying because it varies.

- Here in PL, networks work on exactly the same specs and honestly I've never ever had any problems with lack of reception - besides everywhere there should be more than one available band and even if - however unlikely - you have no reception then still 3G ie easily above 15MBit/s (more than enough for net browsing ;) EU version of Mi5 never had band 20 and no one complains :) --Bololabich (talk) 16:22, 5 December 2017 (UTC)

- I've got the mido based "Note 4X" and it does not have LTE band 20 but it has an Mediatek MT6797 Helio X20 Deca Core. I will try to put this into the table. Fuchhur (talk) 20:38, 6 December 2017 (UTC)

No mentioning of aftermarket/free (libre) firmware? edit
Redmi Note 4 seems to be a popular device for aftermarket (non vendor) firmware.
