Should this be merged with Tesla turbine? Both articles are about bladeless turbines but this one is mainly about gas turbines while Tesla turbine is mainly about steam turbines. Biscuittin (talk) 08:33, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

the tesla turbine is unique and has a well written article. there should be a radial inflow turbine which is popularly used in turbochargers. euler's equation should be under general turbomachinery. as a result, what would remain is of no value.Mkoronowski (talk) 03:53, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply


Formula for Spouting Velocity

I believe there is an error in the formula for the spouting velocity. In my opinion (backed by the book "Axial and Radial Turbines" of Hany Moustapha et al. ) the exponent (y-1)/y should only be for the term p3/p01, and not for 1 ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.243.213.66 (talk) 16:13, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
