History - when was it invented? Is there a Q multiplier before the Villard patent 277043 of 1953? That seems pretty late. Derivation from regen receivers? --Wtshymanski (talk) 02:16, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
- US patent [1] takes it back to 1937. The description doesn't say "Q Multiplier" but describes feedback (reaction) and resulting selectivity improvement. --Wtshymanski (talk) 18:43, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
