This should be merged into Subsidiarity#European Union law as "principle of subsidiarity" is a far more common name used to describe Article 3b which this article quotes. --PBS (talk) 20:06, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- I disagree, since proportionality also exists outside EU law.Sjö (talk) 22:04, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
I based that on the content of the current article, but after the merge a redirect to subsidiarity would cover it. -- PBS (talk) 08:01, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- After I discovered Proportionality (law) and had another look at this article I agree with PBS.Sjö (talk) 14:28, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
Delete/merge to Proportionality (law)
editThis is an invented topic. The proportionality referred to in the EU treaties is the one proportionality (law). The writer appears to have confused it with subsidiarity. Proportionality (law) isn't particularly well written but that can be fixed. — Blue-Haired Lawyer t 12:56, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
