Doesn't meet WP criteria for "Web Content" edit

PROPAGANDA was neither content which is distributed solely on the Internet nor primarily only available for sale via the Internet, and was distributed via a medium which is both respected and independent of the creators; e.g. several Linux distributions including Red Hat 4. It was a popular collection during its era and was a notable component of the early Linux community (an element supported by several distinct stories on Slashdot). The content could be merged into the disambiguation page but the history seemed a bit long for that, and I feel it would be of interest considering it was a rather large, popular collection that the creator subsequently terminated. Poor references, notability edit

The articles' only inline citation is its license file...other source to back it up is a Slashdot comment with a score of 3. I removed a "citation"[1] (not even sure what that website is) that didn't support the passage, "While not greatly influential, Poag's work with PROPAGANDA led many to develop an interest in Linux as a platform during its formative early years." I get the feeling this is prime for deletion unless someone can provide some decent references, or show any notability beyond two unnoticed posts Strangerpete (talk) 12:44, 9 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
