"There is currently no freestanding right to privacy at common law." - this is simply wrong. - The lead section says "Historically, English common law has recognised no general right or tort of privacy" which is broadly correct. Privacy in English law is usually the result of interpreting past precedent.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 12:28, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
