Duchy Square & Village Centre edit

"Both projects are viewed as being controversial among local residents, as neither is seen as being aimed towards the needs and requirements of the immediate residents of the area." Do you have a citation/evidence for this? Ksglp (talk) 11:40, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

That sounds like a load of rubbish, all the building projects from what I have heard first hand seem to have great support. (And frankly, in my opinion and from personal experience, much needed)--Sooo Kawaii!!! ^__^ (talk) 17:11, 16 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Population? edit

Could someone please add Princetown's population to the article? 86.132.139.161 (talk) 21:36, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's very difficult, as Princetown isn't a civil parish or anything. The closest I can get is 1,619 from the Dartmoor Forest Civil Parish, which includes other place than just Princetown. Tis the season to be jolly (talk) 21:51, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

There is a link to Thomas Tyrwhitt which is entirely erroneous, a completely different Tyrwhitt, it should be removed bamboodragon —Preceding undated comment added 10:30, 16 April 2009 (UTC).Reply

Demography section edit

This is interesting, but unsourced. Re. the Home Office rule change - did they decree that prison officers had to live a certain distance away from the prison they worked in, or in a different town? If so, when did this happen? And why were they living in poor-quality housing in Princetown before that? Was it provided by the prison service? Draggleduck (talk) 19:25, 5 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Home Office rule change? Apart from the grammar error this section is confused. I hope the see-saw will contribute to the regeneration of the village. The prison is now category C; can someone source a reference for this? Afterbrunel (talk) 20:21, 19 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

...talk about highs and lows! The art centre is still unoccupied, half the shops in the main street are empty - including the large cafe/gift shop complex. It was a complete ghost town. I can't find any news articles on this - if any exist! The article has an upbeat tone to it, which is hailing from more positive times. Ah well! --All The Whiskey In Ireland (talk) 21:32, 9 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
