Text but no illustration???
editThe final paragraph obviously refers to an illustration:
"If the joints at B, C, and D are not rigid . . ."
but there is no illustration on the page. I have no fix, just thought I'd point it out.
First developed in the 1960s?
editMonadnock Building claims to be the first example of portal frame construction in the United States, and its construction started in 1891. That particular line in that article doesn't footnote a source, so I'm not changing it here-- but that's a pretty significant discrepancy, especially considering that sentence links to this article.
