Knight Rider

edit

User:72.244.114.62 is deleting the reference to Knight Rider without comment. Unless the information is incorrect, I will continue to revert this edit.

72.244.114.62 has deleted my comment above, which I have reverted. His remark that "Knight Rider Suck Get A Life" in the edit summary notwithstanding, my understanding is that the statement is accurate and shouldn't be deleted without comment. Bollar 21:41, Jun 17, 2005 (UTC)

From RFC

edit

These are some of the most frustrating deletion problems. Clearly, the information is imminently factual and should not be deleted just because some Trans Am enthusiast doesn't like Knight Rider. (As for me, as a kid I watched religiously.) · Katefan0(scribble) 17:25, Jun 18, 2005 (UTC)

I added a comment in the text designed to catch the eye of the anon user, who clearly has discovered how to edit articles but doesn't necessarily know about talk pages. · Katefan0(scribble) 17:29, Jun 18, 2005 (UTC)
The entire text including your comment were deleted without comment by 68.164.69.181. I reverted. Bollar 10:20, Jun 21, 2005 (UTC)
I'm watching the page as well. He'll eventually get tired of it I hope. · Katefan0(scribble) 11:47, Jun 21, 2005 (UTC)

Knight Rider reference

edit

I found this link from the RFC. I agree with the other registered editors that the Knight Rider reference should stay, as it is clearly noteworthy (Knight Rider and KITT are very well known to the general public, and this is one of the most prominent and longest-lasting media placements of the Trans Am). I did reword the sentence somewhat for greater clarity, and I also removed the reference to KARR, KITT's evil twin. KARR appeared only in two episodes and is not nearly as well known as KITT. I encourage anyone interested in editing this to discuss this on the talk page so that we can all avoid edit warring. Firebug 01:36, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Engine sizes

edit

In most car articles, the engine sizes are quoted. I don't know why, but that seems to be what people do. Is there a particular reason why this article is different?

No, Engine sizes are a must.

this car is pure class but does anyone no the bhp or the topspeed i think it would be good for someone to put in the specs

1978 super bandit Trans Am

- The Follow up to the trans am is the Pontiac GTO , the new Pontiac production line is well off. Nevertheless nothing beats a tuned up Trans Am. - 86'Trans Am Driver Warsaw(M.M.E.)

the GTO is not a follow up of the trans am, the gto is a follow up of the gto.

Merge with "Firebird Page"

edit

I agree. This page should be part of the Firebird page. It is a single version of a model in a line from Pontiac. Would the Z28 get a seperate page from a Camero page?.

It has already been decided that it will be merged. Join the discussion on the talk page for Firebird to help how it should be merged. Roguegeek 11:05, 27 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
