Generic article needed

This article should really be moved to something like "polysorbate surfactant", and all the tweens and spans etc. should contain a brief paragraph explaining themselves, and refer to this page. --Slashme 13:27, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree to move all polysorbates into one article. The figure is correct as I see it today. I removed mention of PS20 being distinguished from PSnn by the number of ethoxy moieties as the article for PS80 contains the same number. The Number (20, 40, 60, 65 or 80) tells the Number of ethoxy groups in the molecule. The fatty acid is the same in all the Tweens. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lictuel (talk • contribs) 12:10, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
