Generic article needed edit

This article should really be moved to something like "polysorbate surfactant", and all the tweens and spans etc. should contain a brief paragraph explaining themselves, and refer to this page. --Slashme 13:27, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Or they could simply redirect to Polysorbate surfactant (they'd be redirects to list entries). —Keenan Pepper 01:56, 8 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

The figure is not correct. It has only four ethylene oxide units, instead of 20. Does anyone have a correct structure to replace this one? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.156.102.198 (talk) 20:05, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree to move all polysorbates into one article. The figure is correct as I see it today. I removed mention of PS20 being distinguished from PSnn by the number of ethoxy moieties as the article for PS80 contains the same number. Only the fatty acid chain length is different, yes? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.176.189.201 (talk) 17:21, 22 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Number (20, 40, 60, 65 or 80) tells the Number of ethoxy groups in the molecule. The fatty acid is the same in all the Tweens. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lictuel (talkcontribs) 12:10, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

spam advert edit

the irobot section seems a bit advert like, considering that this detergent is used by the kiloton in thousands of productsCinnamon colbert (talk) 15:22, 12 March 2008 (UTC) All of you are nerds —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.157.15.212 (talk) 13:51, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
