To "stub" or "not to stub" edit

When I first wrote this article (a short time ago), I included the "stub" tags. Now, as I look at this article, my POV is that it is not a stub. Feel free to "weigh-in" on this. I promise, I have good intentions. ProfessorPaul 03:52, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Illegal Immigration edit

Recently, Oklahoma has passed really sweeping anti-illegal immigration laws that effectively get rid of illegal aliens as far as that state is concerned. This has been on FOX News and on CNN, other news outlets. Among the laws, "you" spot a illegal alien, "you're" to turn him/her in, OR "you" get turned in for harboring a criminal. Can these laws be stated ? 65.163.112.104 (talk) 20:44, 17 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Early Days edit

"Following the practical destruction of the Socialist party in the aftermath of the Green Corn Rebellion and WWI repression, state politics became a two-party system which excluded Black voters." this needs to be re-written with dates added, there isn't enough information here to understand what happened and when. what was ww1 repression? what year did state politics become two party? in what year was race removed as a prerequisite to vote in Oklahoma? was this different for state elections than federal?
