Terminology
editThe term 'Arvanites' was once the generic name for all Albanians in demotic Greek. The term "Arvanites" and the category "Arvanite settlements" today are used for settlements of medieval Albanians in southern Greece. This category is not relevant for this article. Thank you.--Maleschreiber (talk) 11:03, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Alltan and Alexikoua: Two RS, Korhonnen and Johannsen call them "Albanians". Koukoudis calls them "Arvanites" but at the same time he calls Muslim Albanians "Arnauts", that author has obvious issues with the outdated and misleading terms he uses to refer to people.
