Talk:Pipistrellus hanaki

Vernacular name should be Hanák's, not Hanaki's

edit

In spite of the name assigned to this species by IUCN, it should clearly be "Hanák's", not "Hanaki's". The species is named after Vladimír Hanák. The paper by Georgiakakis & Russo (2012, cited in the article) calls it Hanák's dwarf bat, and it is referred to as Hanák's dwarf bat or Hanák's pipistrelle by bat workers. I will come back in a few days and edit the article to make this clear, unless anyone objects. SNALWIBMA ( talk - contribs ) 06:36, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
