Fix title now!

edit

It's embarrassing and unprofessional that the word in the title is inconsistent with the text. According to just about every dictionary, it's one two-syllable word (text) and NOT two one-syllable words (title). Attempted to make the correction but was prevented from doing so because there was another article titled with the proper spelling already. Checked to see if that reason was legitimate but it wasn't. Typed "pinstripes" in the search box, but the dropdown menu didn't have any mention of that word alone. So, any chance that the spelling in the title will be corrected anytime soon? The Ink Daddy! • I just encountered this when I wanted to link to the article. I double-checked a variety of dictionaries[1] to be sure I wasn't crazy. A couple list "pin stripe" as an alternate, but every one I checked used it as a single word. Looking at the history, the page was *created* as "pin stripes", and at some point someone simply created the redirect back to here rather than renaming the article so it's the other way around. I'll give it a go. Elf | Talk 19:02, 24 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Done. But, in looking at what links where, many articles that talk about pinstripes or pinstriping or pinstripers put a space after "pin". I believe that all should be edited-- but I'm not going to do so. Just trying to track down where an actual link to here exists. Elf | Talk 19:50, 24 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
