I attempted to revise this Picosecond Ultrasonics page by a considerable amount, trying to maintain the style and ideas of the original authors. Hopefully it is now easier to read. I have also tried to better represent the contributions of different groups to the field in a more balanced way, assigning some priority to the people in this field who were first on the scene.
Some work therefore needs to be done on the more recent nanostructure work, and on high spatial resolution work. I think I might be able to help with that in the future.Femtoquake (talk) 23:38, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
