Get it Right edit

there is no such thing as semi perfect cell. its name is final form/perfect from cell. and the next one up from that is perfect form perfect cell

someone please edit this--S02178 (talk) 03:41, 7 December 2007 (UTC)S02178Reply

Actually, there is no "Perfect form Perfect Cell". The form Ordering is Imperfect Cell. Final Form. Perfect Cell. Perfect Cell Weighted. And Perfect Cell 100%. Forcourse, 100% isn't a "Transformation" But, rather, when he was killed, and was effected by Zenkai,(Which is the Dub term for a nearth death experince), And given a power boost. Do your research before you tell some one else they are wrong (Althought there is, infact, no form called "Simi Perfect." 140.198.61.48 (talk) 20:20, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Let me this simply. Going in order from Cell's form to his perfect form from when he came back from self-destructing: Imperfect Cell, Semi-Perfect Cell, Perfect Cell, Super Perfect Cell. I'm not completely sure about the last one, as a name has never been given to the form when he regenerated from his self-destruction, but in the Shin Budokai games, he is called Super Perfect Cell. Yeah, I know you can't really use video games a source, but...meh. Son Gohan (talk) 16:26, 31 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Edit: After reading this, and thinking about it. I realise that this is COMPLETLY unrelated to Piccolo, and should be deleted. Anyone want to do the Honors? 140.198.61.48 (talk) 20:21, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:150px-YoungPiccolo.JPG edit

Image:150px-YoungPiccolo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. GT edit

We should have a section for his life in GT. I mean, he dies! --Kuriza (talk) 23:32, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. I'll do it right now. Son Gohan (talk) 19:02, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Son Gohan, please do not add content without providing reliable sources. See also WP:REF. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 21:33, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

There is reliable sources, if you knew anything about DBGT, then you'd know what happened. Son Gohan (talk) 16:29, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mouth Blast edit

Another attack of Piccolo's not listed is an energy/ki blast that he shoots from his mouth. I have seen this used at least twice: once during the fight with Goku (manga volume 16) and when he kills a Saibaman (manga volume 18/DBZ2 or 19/DBZ3). -Krendall (talk) 16:48, 21 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Stretching ability edit

I've been trying to keep this category away from Piccolo's article and my reasons are that it appears to be a tangent characteristic about him. Off the top of my head I see Dhalsim, Rubber-Band Man, Mister Fantastic, and Monkey D. Luffy as much more suitable examples (not sure if Majin Buu and Apocalypse can count). Regardless, is there a reliable source that gives leverage to it other than the two times he used it in Dragon Ball and the time he used it in Cooler's Revenge? And does this arcade game make it significant? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 06:29, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, he can do it in all the games. And I know I've seen him do it alot in the show. I don't think it's really that big of a deal, I'd say re-instate the category. I don't really understand why you got rid of it in the first place?--KojiDude (C) 03:42, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I meant if it's really something that he is known for. Is he just as notable as other characters I mentioned? The context itself doesn't even reference it. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 04:45, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I dunno. Categories aren't really my specialty. I don't see any reason to have removed it, but I don't see any reason to put it back either. I guess it's your call.--KojiDude (C) 15:47, 26 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
If Apocalypse ain't in the category I fail to see why Piccolo should be. It's just a tangent feat for these guys. Thinking back on it, Buu is a better example so it could apply to him. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 20:18, 26 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Poorly written edit

Piccolo has shown many abilities throughout Dragon Ball. Being a Namekian,[7] Piccolo can regenerate lost limbs of his body, as long as his head is still intact.[8] Piccolo also has the ability to conjure various objects, such as clothing.

Like many other characters in Dragon Ball, Piccolo has the ability of flight. Piccolo's signature attack is called "Destructive Wave" which is fired with one hand being supported by the other. One of Piccolo's most powerful attacks is the Makankosappo, (Special Beam Cannon) an attack that is expelled from Piccolo's index and middle fingers.[9][10] Unlike most energy-based attacks in Dragon Ball, the potent Makankosappo pierces its targets like a drill rather than enveloping them or exploding on contact. Piccolo's ultimate attack is called "Hellzone Grenade" which involves firing off many orbs of energy that float around the opponent. Piccolo then squeezes his hand to make all the orbs converge onto the opponent, exploding on contact. Piccolo also possesses the ability of "Scatter Shot" in which he fires many different chi blasts shots from one hand at the same time. Piccolo is also seen possessing an attack called the Masenko or Demon Wave, which Piccolo teaches to his pupil Gohan. Another move Piccolo is seen to have is the "Light Grenade", which is conjured by putting his hands on his chest, gathering energy and then releasing it outwards. Piccolo also displays the ability to fire energy rays from his eyes, which he shows when he uses it against Goku in the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai and again when he trains Gohan in the Saiyan Saga. This is one of his less frequent techniques.

Piccolo can also perform the "Namekian Fusion" which he first does with Nail on the distant Planet Namek to confront Freeza,[11] and then with Kami at the Lookout to stop Cell.[12]

Does anyone else notice how terrible this sounds? id fix it, but maybe theres nothing wrong with it and im just dumb. "Also" and "Another" is used too much -_- im sure theres a better way to write it eh?

James Marsters as Piccolo in movie edit

The article makes mention as James Marsters as portraying Piccolo in the movie, but this is not true. Even the movie lists him as being casted for Lord Piccolo (actually King Piccolo) which is not the same as Piccolo of this article. More to the point, there is a Wiki article for the correct Piccolo (in fact when you click Piccolo link here it links to the correct character) -- Piccolo Daimao. Shouldn't this be clarified since they are 2 different characters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.14.70.8 (talk) 23:57, 14 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
