Article still requires serious work. edit
I've removed numerous sources that are in non-English languages and that are simply not relevant. Statistics on this page also lack any type of source, and I can't find any sources to correct or back up anything here. Article likely requires an electrical expert. Untitled edit
I have reworded and expanded on this article. I believe it is considerably less technical than it was before. I have also noted the importance of photonic circuits, categorized the article, and provided some "see also" links. I'm working now to add my resources.
This article needs work edit
This article need some serious work. There are may statements which vague or would not be generally held to be true. While it needs not to be overly technical the simplification must not create inaccuracy. Since it is currently being edited I get to it later and clean it up. Dtneilson 02:17, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
