Unless adequate source information is provided, this whole thing can be deleted as original research. WAS 4.250 07:04, 26 October 2005 (UTC) . There are too many gross over generalizations....it is apalling actually...the Philippines is not like that...

Do we really need this statement?: During the Marcos era, it was estimated that 40% of all banking transactions in the Philippines are done by the Chinese.

Is this article needed?

It seems the tone of the article is filled with gross generalizations, stereotypes, and general distaste for the Chinese/Filipino community. I suggest this article be removed entirely or vastly improved.
