- That last location is highly unlikely: it's way across the Gulf of Gonâve and the satellite map has no sign of a village. It would be very surprising to have a tsunami there when nothing was reported in areas closer to the quake or on the Island of Gonâve. Moreover, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever for marines to send amphibious ships in a place so far away from the main rescue efforts. (And why on earth would CNN send a crew way out there?) I'd actually suggest redirecting this article to the one about the quake since we don't even have a good idea of where this place is and since the incident itself is hard to verify for now. If it is closer to the original coordinates included in the article, then this suggests that the village is a part of Léogâne or at least part of the Léogâne Arrondissement, both of which would be natural redirect targets. - original name: Petit Paradis
- geographical location: Ouest, Haiti, Central America
- geographical coordinates: 18° 29' 0" North, 72° 38' 0" West
