CommentsEdit

The bottom section is entirely opinion, though there is probably a good way to clean it up and retain the information -

There are a couple of inaccuracies which I will correct today, and will also look for citations which seem completly missing.

The bottom paragraphs are completely based off of an opinion and thus are inaccurate. That should be taken care of and there should be a section talking specifically about tasks that are required. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.119.194.213 (talk) 21:29, 7 January 2012 (UTC)

Deleted subjective matter on nature of PA work. Also included no references. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.109.236.247 (talk) 12:41, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Not in accord with British usageEdit

The page notes "(Redirected from Right hand man)".

The text does not well reflect British usage, in which a right-hand man is rarely a personal assistant, but rather an extremely significant friend and/or colleague. A PA is rarely capable of undertaking the prime tasks of his principle, but rather relieves the principal of many relatively routine tasks; a PA can fairly readily be replaced. A right-hand man is commonly one who might well be considered for promotion to the principal's position. He may be considered indispensable. 94.30.84.71 (talk) 16:31, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
