Wikiproject Percussion edit
This article is of interest merely because of the name, there is no suggestion that the clarinet is a percussion instrument. However Hornbostel–Sachs chose to (mis)appropriate the term percussion to contrast to concussion (perhaps they were suffering from it at the time) leading to no end of confusion among the laity ever since.
