The first pedotransfer function edit

A discrepancy within WP needs to be cleared up and, ideally, verification cited:

  • From Lyman James Briggs: "In 1906 he devised a soil classification technique called the moisture equivalent based on centrifuging, which is now thought of as the first pedotransfer function."

Plagiarism edit

Hi, this article, since the first edits by User:Terrarosa, has content identical to McBratney et al. (2002). This is plagiarism, which is intolerable. Certainly, some of these sections should be rewritten, as this article is violating fair use laws.+mwtoews 21:39, 3 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
