Terms suspended doesn't mean over

Terms suspended does not mean her term is over: Roh Moo-hyun's example (only one, though) might be an example. He faced impeachment from the assembly, but the decision of the assembly was overturned by the court and the term was continued as if nothing happened. Her terms are suspended but not over - she's still the president of the Republic of Korea. Constitutional Court Act article 50 also says 탄핵소추의 의결을 받은 사람은 헌법재판소의 심판이 있을 때까지 그 권한 행사가 정지된다., which is translated to Person whose impeachment motion has passed is suspended from the office until the constitutional court's decision is made. That doesn't mean the term is over. — regards, Revi 07:42, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Ping Kihyun34 and Kihyun35. — regards, Revi 07:42, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

@-revi: Writing ping doesn't ping. See {{ping}}. I just used {{ping | -revi}} here; do the same with those Kihyuns (34 and 35? sockpuppets? organizational? or just names?) and sign with ~~~~ if you want to notify them. --Thnidu (talk) 19:09, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
It does. See mw:Manual:Echo. Let's see: Thnidu. — regards, Revi 03:47, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
No, User:-revi, that word typed as a plain piece of text is not magic. What had the effect in your comments, and what more clearly does it in this comment, is the linked username, together with the writer's own linked username entered at the same time; not the word that precedes "-pong", which I am deliberately avoiding here to prove my point. See Template:Ping fix --Thnidu (talk) 00:15, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
Username mentioned with a link to userpage, signed with newlines, signature has link to userpage, why do you think it does not work? See {{U}}, "This template is commonly used to ping a user to a discussion (when not using something like {{reply to}})." I'm not sure why I have to prove this. — regards, Revi 00:25, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
Your point is not valid anyway because both kihyuns have been notified of discussion via talkpage. — regards, Revi 00:29, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
@-revi: Perhaps I misunderstood you, or vice versa.
  1. You wrote Ping {{u|Kihyun34}} and {{u|Kihyun35}}..
  2. Seeing that you had just written the word ping instead of invoking the template with {{Ping |Kihyun34 |Kihyun35}}, I thought you were operating under the impression that "ping" by itself, not as a template call would notify a user. So I wrote, Writing ping doesn't ping.
  3. You wrote It does and linked to mw:Manual:Echo. That page explicitly proves my point: "Linking to a user's page in a signed message, either directly or through a template, will trigger a mention notification for them. The technical details of this are laid out below." The naked word "ping" has nothing to do with it, and in fact has no effect whatsoever. I was trying to save you from a possible future mistake, such as writing ping thnidu (or any user), without linking to the user's page and signing in the same edit, in the mistaken belief that the user would be notified.
And now I have devoted as much time and effort to this discussion as I want to or can afford to, and much more than it deserves. Either you understand or you don't; I hope you do. Regards, Thnidu (talk) 03:19, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
Now I got why you thought it didn't work; however the speaking"ping" out loud here wasn't the magic word: {{U}} was. The mw.org link also prove my point as {{u}} also makes a link to userpage. I think this was just a full of misunderstanding from both of us. Gisado (talk) 07:23, 18 March 2017 (UTC)

Gap in Time

The article says nothing about her life between her father's assassination in 1979 and her first election to public office in 1998.Bill (talk) 02:44, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Trial section

Is pretty much empty. What evidence was produced? Are there English language sources that deal with the trial? More detail would be good, since, as far as I know, the prosecution didn't show that Park actually ordered anyone to bribe anyone. Her buddy, Choi Sun Shil definitely accepted bribes and favours, but how did the prosecution show that Park did? Jest askin' .....Theonemacduff (talk) 20:19, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
