FA concerns

This article was last reviewed for its featured article status in 2007. I do not think it meets the featured article criteria anymore. Listed below are my concerns, including

  • The lede is too short and does not summarize the article's info.
  • The infobox data has not been updated since 2008
  • Numerous uncited statements have been tagged in the article, including an uncited paragraph containing a direct quote
  • The middle two paragraphs in "Entering the market" have one source. I wonder if there are other reliable sources to verify this information.
  • The update to the XL, the XL2 was initially released in 2004.[26] . Why is [26] here?
  • Panavision's next step in the evolution of digital cinema cameras also involved collaboration between Sony and Panavision; this time, Panavision participated in all the stages of development. The aim was to create a system that could use the entire range of the company's 35 mm spherical lenses. Promotional language with "next step in the evolution" and uncited text.
  • I think the "Panavision 3D" section was added in a merge, and this section is too short. It should be incorporated into a "Products" section.
  • The article is formatted like a timeline, with products, cultural impact and legacy information interspersed. These should be placed in their own sections.
  • The article either does not contain information about the company's corporate structure, revenue, expenses, or headquarters, or it is buried in other information and I cannot find it.
  • Unreliable sources, like answers.com and imdb, and www.dpvotheatrical.com are used in the article.

Is anyone interested in fixing this up? If not, I will nominate it for a featured article review. Z1720 (talk) 02:22, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
