The placement of Dicamptodon in its own family is not recognized by the primary source for classification used by the AAR project (Amphibian Spececies of the World (ASW 6.1). The alternative taxonomy proposed in AmphibiaWeb is included in the text. Loopy30 (talk) 12:15, 8 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
