Move and merge proposal
editWikipedia has:
- Oxidation of primary alcohols to carboxylic acids
- Oxidation of alcohols to carbonyl compounds
- alcohol oxidation, a redirect to Alcohol oxidase
Proposal:
- convert alcohol oxidation to an article that absorbs Oxidation of primary alcohols to carboxylic acids and Oxidation of alcohols to carbonyl compounds.
- retain Alcohol oxidase, which is a well-define set of enzymes
Rationale:
- unifying concepts
- simplify search for info
- long titles are a tip-off of a pooly conceived article.

- Support. Logistically, merge oxidation of primary alcohols to carboxylic acids into oxidation of alcohols to carbonyl compounds, then move the merged article to alcohol oxidation. Mdewman6 (talk) 04:20, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
