Looking over this article I feel that, in the article's current state, its GA nomination was done way too early. There are some MAJOR issues here that essentially reduce this article to, at best C class status. Now I don't want this to seem harsh or rude but this is all my observations on the issues of the article. I will list them so below:

  • Writing Style: The article's writing style is somewhat varying in quality. There are several reasons for this, the first being the Lead Section, not being correctly copy-edited and there is no need for citing sources in this lead section since they are present in the article's main body. Essentially a complete rewriting might be necessary to bring this up to GA quality.
  • Sections: The Plot section is underdeveloped and requires expansion. The article is also missing sections with information on the novel's Themes/Style absent from the article.
  • Citation: The article's citation style and choice of sources consist of links and essentially need to be redone to fit Wikipiedia's citation guidelines. There are also duplicate citations that need to be readjusted so that they don't appear multiple times in the reference list.

Conclusion: In conclusion, there is just too many things that are needed to be done with this article that prevent it from GA status. My thought is that the nomination should be removed and more work done to it. Sorry mate. Reviewer: Paleface Jack (talk · contribs) 16:15, 19 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
