Thomas Crapper? I thought it was John Crapper.

Moore/Cook Reference edit

I specifically came to the Wiki page, after seeing the Moore/Cook sketch in "The Comedy Vaults: BBC2's Hidden Treasure," because I hadn't known there was a longer cultural reference to the name Otto Titsling/Titzling, well before the song in Beaches. Which is why I felt it was appropriate to mention their sketch in the article.

I realize the mention of it being their last public performance, is probably edging between trivia and cultural context. But because their partnership has been considered such a huge part of the history of British comedy, it seemed appropriate to add that context. If anyone thinks it is inappropriate, please feel free to remove it.

I also am correcting the Beaches reference, in regard to the spelling. The soundtrack for the film, spells the last name as sling not zling. I went with that spelling, in my Moore/Cook addition, because it sounded closer to what he said in the broadcast. There was no hint of a zed sound, as best I can tell. Cunning Linguist? edit

I get the pun, but if this is just a joke it's not really appropriate on Wikipedia. I didn't change it because it's possible that there's a criteria of linguists who are labeled as "cunning." If so, then it should be a link. Marklemagne (talk) 17:37, 4 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
