The new article seeks to give context to Organic Decollage and assumes that a reader looks no further. Hence the introduction is intended to frame the terms and origins of Decollage and the man attributed to date with its creation. This is relevant and hopefully useful, giving historic context. In fact this entry provides far more info / context on Rotella than the existing Rotella WP entry which is very light. Hence the first part is intended to be useful not unnecessary. This introduction is necessary to the entry to highlight the so far seemingly unacknowledged likely source of his epiphany - Organic Decollage.

Without stepping back in time it is impossible to determine with absolute certainty that Organic Decollage was the, or an, inspiration for the genre of Decollage however given that it is still being 'created' on the streets of Rome, the city where Rotella had his "Zen Illumination", it is highly probable. It is, I believe, from research the first recorded use of the term Organic Decollage and therefore an important recognition of the source of inspiration and ideas; a thought not apparently so discussed in WP. Therefore this is relevant vv art history. Art is not always intended and organic forms are resonant and inform much 'spontaneous' human expression.

Maria Stengard-Green was not only a performer with Trickster Theatre Company - a leading UK theatre co. [1] [2] [3] who were contemporaries of Complicite - but she co-deviser of a number of their productions including 'Fractured Shadows', 'Memory Gate' and 'Charavari' and therefore has made a small contribution to culture; and has a valid and original voice; putting art, ownership and epiphany into context and offering up views and ideas. If you look at her article in Ping mag [4] you will see examples of Organic Decollage recorded in Rome in April 2008 which you can compare with Rotella's [5] [6] and Villeglé's [7] work to see for yourself if the thesis and connections are substantial. --Stungun666 (talk) 08:25, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
