@JamesBWatson: Should this article really be deleted? Even though WP:WPSCH/AG says that it is not eligible for A7 Wikipedia:Speedy Deletion, you PRODed it. I realize that it is allowed to PROD a school article, however are most elementary schools really meet basic Wikipedia:Notability guidelines? Dat GuyWiki (talk) 14:58, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Dat GuyWiki: There is a long-established consensus that high schools/secondary schools are presumed to be notable, but elementary/primary schools aren't, unless there are special indications of notability in a particular case. I don't personally agree 100% with that consensus, but it has been accepted for many years, in I should think hundreds of deletion discussions. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk)
