Taken from SLD's, some info assumed from usage of the interchange.

Yes, this article needs cleanup. And yes, it's true that Route 2C is no-where near the likes of old Route 66 for historic and cultural value. But it is an official State Route in Ohio, and there is a WikiProject to create articles on every Ohio State Route. I say this article should exist, though maybe having it redirect to State Route 2 might be better, with a subsection there describing this auxilliary road. Not too familiar with US roads but a state route is fairly notable, right? If this is just a short stretch at an interchange then perhaps a merge with Ohio State Route 2 would be better. Also, it really does need expanding. If you must, put it up for an articles for deletion discussion, but it's not speediable. --Robdurbar 17:27, 13 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
My apologies. I was unaware of the wikiproject in question. I suppose questions relating to the notability of the roads and the usefulness of the project should be held there. yandman 08:01, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
While true that this state route does exist, the question is: to what extent? Is it signed as State Route 2C? I have only been on SR 2 between Toledo and Cleveland once, and that was just about 10 years ago. I'm guessing from 2C's length of 0.64 miles that it is probably not separately signed, but that ODOT simply called it 2C because it's a "connector." There are probably hundreds of little connector routes listed on the SLD pages – most designate one-way directional routes – that are not deserving of their own separate pages here. I also don't feel that it even requires mention on the SR 2 page, since it's just a connector. I will propose a clarification on the WP:OHSH page requiring routes to be signed or historical to be deseving of their own articles — Homefryes SayDo 11:45, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Just put the page here to get rid of a red link on the list of state routes. Einstine85 13:35, 13 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merge edit

State Route 2C should be merged with Ohio State Route 2. None of the 'special' routes have their own pages, but rather have sections on the main page explaining the route. Milktaco 19:39, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
