Merge into Xenogenesis article?

I wonder if this article, along with Ooloi, should both be merged into the article/stub on Xenogenesis. Both Oankali and Ooloi are critical elements of Butler's trilogy, but they don't have any particular significance outside of that work. That would argue for discussing them within the context of the work.

If separate articles for Oankali and Ooloi are kept, they should be reworked to be presented as elements in a work of fiction. That doesn't necessarily mean getting rid of any information presented here, but it does mean sourcing that information to the fictional works that it first appeared in. It would also help to add some context as to what these fictional elements mean as part of the novels. It would be easier to do that, of course, if the discussions were part of the Xenogenesis article. Nareek 04:27, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
