Selection of sources

Hi, sorry if my question is so naive ;( Are other encyclopedias (like ArchWiki, GentooWiki and others) reliable sources? and also, which sections of the article need more sources? and, is Medium considered a secondary and reliable source? Devilmanz (talk) 02:41, 5 October 2024 (UTC)

Wikis are not reliable sources. Medium is a community blog (blogs aren't reliable sources either, except for the rare case where the author happens to be a recognized expert in the topic -- and in that case, the author wouldn't be using something like Medium). Wiki contributors are "just anyone", and often anonymous, which is part of why wikis are not reliable sources.
