Whether this particular piece of prose has any merit or not, WP needs an article on Notching. It's a notable technique, in a context that's broad enough to be of useful interest to much of the metalworking community.
I had no immediate intention to write anything about Notching myself, nor do I see _ANY_ justification for killing this as a "speedy", so I'm going to make no promises about fixing it personally in some stupidly arbitrarily short timescale. However anyone who cares about actually building something useful here, rather than just waving their editorial ego around, should be prepared to hold off until it's fixed, not just shoot it on sight. editThis article is woefully short on images. Little of it is really understandable to those outside the field without a simple line drawing of notched corners in a pan-folded box, or notched tube assembly. Andy Dingley (talk) 14:15, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
