It may be worth adding a section within the main Dagestan article about the countries history with Combat Sports. It is quite astonishing that a province of only 3 million averages about 5 Gold Medals every Olympics. --2601:645:C380:4CB0:198C:AFC6:A80B:9C19 (talk) 00:38, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
Arts section needs expansion.
editAlmost all of the notable writers from Dagestan listed in the Arts section of the article are of Mountain Jewish/Juhuri background. There is only one Lezgin poet and no Avar writer at all. This section needs to be expanded to take account of all the literary languages of Dagestan. Pascalulu88 (talk) 17:40, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
