The large numbers of notable UCLA graduates warrants a seperate page. Similar to a written work with many citations, sometimes it's best to use end notes, rather than trying to cite everything within the same page of a given text.

- I'm not aware of any other "notable alum/faculty" pages for other universities. None of the articles are that large to begin with, and are not at all unwieldy when merged. The citation anology is flawed. Tufflaw 06:47, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
Clearly, you haven't looked carefully enough because if you did you'd know that several universities with a large number of notable alums use a seperate page to highlight their achievements.
