Comments:

  1.   Done In the infobox, change the rotue paramter to the highway name parameter and get rid of the alternate name paramter -- This looks better I was worried about it automatically putting the name on a shield but it didn't.
  2.   Done In the sentence "The route starts at Dawson Creek, British Columbia Spirit River Highway, British Columbia Highway 49, and ends at Winnipeg, Manitoba running through the northern region of the western provinces", add "at the" after "Dawson Creek, British Columbia" remove comma after "Spirit River Highway", put British Columbia Highway 49 in parentheses, and add comma after "Manitoba"
  3.   Done Rewrite "includes these connector routes from west to east," to "includes several connector routes from west to east including"
  4.   Done Do not need to indicate abbreviations of routes in parentheses
  5.   Done Add a subheading for British Columbia -- Hadn't done this intially as the length of the route is short 176 km in comparison to the rest of the route, but it did make a paragraph.  :-)
  6.   Done Combine first two sentences describing route in British Columbia
  7.   Done In first section of Alberta section, doesn't the route head east into Alberta as Alberta is to the east of British Columbia? -- whoops AB is west of me but is east of BC thank you.
  8. Combine first section of Alberta section with following paragraph -- will re-check after a save it may be just the images doing something to the formatting
  9.   Done The sentence "Spirit River is a local economy is supported by agriculture as well as the oil and gas industry." sounds awkward, rephrase
  10.   Done The following sentence contains redundant information about the economy, remove
  11.   Done In next sentence, add comma after "Spirit River"
  12.   Done Remove "actually" in Saskatchewan section
  13.   Done The sentence "Goodsoil, the approximate halfway point of the NWWR is actually located on Sk Hwy 26 6.2 kilometres (3.85 miles) north of the NWWR enroute to the Meadow Lake Provincial Park 3.2 kilometres (1.99 miles) from Goodsoil." soudns awkward
  14.   Done "gateway to pure air and water"? sounds a little awkward, almost advertising -- This is indeed the town logo or motto that they write on their welcome sign, but I don't have a picture of it.
  15.   Done The sentence "The village of Canwood with a population of about 350 between Polwarth and the town of Shellbrook at the intersection of Sk Hwy 55 and Sk Hwy 240." is a fragment
  16.   Done Rewrite the sentence "The city of Prince Albert is the meeting place of several National Highways, Sk Hwy 55, Sk Hwy 2, Sk Hwy3, and Sk Hwy 11." and add space between "Hwy" and "3"
  17.   Done Rephrase "Small unincorporated areas follow along the NWWR next; Weirdale is found in the Garden River No. 490 RM; Foxford in Paddockwood No. 520, RM; and Shipman of Torch River No. 488 RM."
  18.   Done Is it nessecary to mention who administers unincorporated areas such as in the sentence " Torch River No. 488 RM also administrates to the unincorporated area of Garrick."? -- It was just a re-wording of identifying a place along the NWWR, if the place is so small that the census enumerates the residents as a part of the RM it means it is either a hamlet pop less than 100, or a locality pop less than 10. Some of these small areas will provide some services to travelers, other will have none. I should find a way to put this into prose in the article proper. Hmmm. Unless I drive on the route I am not sure which services which places provide. The cities would provide all services, probably all the towns would also provide services. The unincorporated places some will and some won't provide servies and they will vary depending upon length of time and distance between places and what they feature - gas or hotel or store but rarely all of them. It would involve a lot of peacock words to put this information in so I did not put it in till I have the facts... The fact available is that there is a community there.
  19.   Done "on the MB PR 283 west" sounds awkward and so does "travel continues south along the MB PTH 10"
  20.   Done "The Pas a town of about 5,500 has not yet incorporated as a city": add commas after Pas and 5,500
  21.   Done " is the largest village since The Pas." sounds awkward -- The village of this size is a better destination for travelers in regards to services in comparison to an uninincorporated area which may be a locality of fewer than 10 residents or a hamlet of fewer than 100 residents. If it was a village over 100 residents and just lost population to become a hamlet then the area may have some services available. I don't have a fact citation for the exact services available at every placename, but that is why I mention them. Maybe in time wikipedia editors will add that at this place such and such service is available.
  22.   Done "Sclater and Pine River are also found in Mountain (South) RM The NWWR is to the east of Duck Mountain Provincial Park and Duck Mountain Provincial Forest and west of Lake Winnipegosis." is a run-on sentence
  23.   Done Do not use hyphens to indicate rotue junctions such as in "MB PTH 10-MB PR 582" use the word "and" instead
  24.   Done The sentence "Eddystone found in Alonsa, Manitoba RM is west of Ebb and Flow Lake" sounds awkward
  25.   Done "at the intersection of , MB PR 418 east, PTH 6, and MB PR 419 west": Is there supposed to be something after "of" and before the comma?
  26.   Done Try to add more descriptive information about the road itself to the Travel Route section -- As in the history comment below, I didn't want the article to be too SK heavy, as I know where the info is for that segement. So will try to glean a bit more about the route starting in the other provinces first off.
  27.   Done Remove redundant wikilinks in Travel Route section and combine many of the short, choppy sentences, also check grammar
  28.   Done There are too many redlinks in the route description. If an article is not likely to be created to these links, remove the link. -- OK will re-look at what has been wikilinked
  29. Is there pictures of the actual road itself that can be added to the article rather than of features and attractions along the road? -- I found only the one road sign on MB PT 10, which is why I went with the Northern Woods and Water pictures of the Northern Woods and Water Route, and the pictures of the communities which the NWWR passes through.
  30.   Done Is there any more history of the road that can be added? -- will check I know for SK that there may be, as well that is where I know how to research, but I didn't want to make the article too SK heavy. So will start with the other provinces to see what can be found for them first.
  31.   Done Is the Route connectors from west to east table nessecary? Can this information be more clearly presented in the Travel Route section? -- Ok I will do that, and probably will bold the first instance of the name as it is kind of like an alternate name of the route in that segment. I made the section to make it easy to see the names of the highways which connect, and their length respectively, but will try to do it in the prose as well, and it will add more info about the NWWR proper to the prose of the article as well.
  32.   Done In the intersections table, for intersections where more than one road is present, add slashes between each separate road
  33.   Done Remove File:AB-Veteran HWY.png, File:Buffalo hwy.png, and File:Manitoba Highway 5.png as there is no fair use rationale for these images to be used in this article -- I had done so many fair use rationales that day, I thought I caught these ones also, ah well fixed MB hwy 5 the same way as the other MB shields and removed the other two.

I am placing the article on hold Dough4872 (talk) 02:51, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
