Biased editing
The user account SamSpartan is almost undoubtedly a biased editor. NCC's mascot is known as Sam The Spartan, and the account has made almost 100 edits-all but two on this page. The edits are among three categories:
- Simple fact-editing, such as tuition rates and updates on wins
- Syntax corrections: Around the same time the college opened a "Center for Civic and Community Engagement", the account changed the header "Service Learning" to "Community Engagement".
- Image improvement: The account-on two occasions-removed mention of police killer Eric Frein from the list of notable alumni.
In addition, various notable alumni entries were removed with no explanation.
The only other two non-NCC edits are: a request to improve NCC's ranking in Wikipedia's catagory system, and the outright removal of any mention about NCC (and, in the process, East Stroudsburg University) from Eric Frein's page.
Finally, the newer account Autumn2323 is setting a similar pattern, removing Eric Frein's mentioning as well as other notable alumni, again with no explanation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Axslayer33 (talk • contribs) 00:55, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
