Limestone or marble?

Is this material limestone or marble? According to the website of the Noir Belge quarry here (and you would think they'd know) it's marble. Richerman (talk) 15:22, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

They should know ... but they obviously don't. From a geologist's point of view, there is not a single marble in Belgium. --Jo (talk) 09:33, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Basic information to add to this article: Noir Belge's chemical composition, specifically which chemical components give it its characteristic black color.
