Amateur or Professional
editThe first line reads
The Nikon D500 is a 20.9-megapixel enthusiast digital single-lens reflex camera using an APS-C sensor.
This is incorrect. Nikon classify the D500 as a professional camera. Owners who want to join the NPS club for professionals must have equipment that qualifies as profession and the list of qualifying equipment is at. It includes the D500

The D500 is like a scaled-down D5, with all the professional features: weather-sealing, two card slots, availability of battery grip, fast fps and deep buffer.
Comparisons?
editIs anyoen able to write a section comparing this to both the D300 and the D5? Viam Ferream (talk) 13:04, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
Sensor size
editAccording to Nikon the Sensor Size is 23.5mm x 15.7mm [1]. Does anybody know, why it is listed as 'about 23.6 x 15.8mm' in this article? --Bstegmaier (talk) 21:02, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
