Birthday

I know that most sites list her birthday as being 17 January 1988, but I heard from someone on IMDb that her birthday is actually in February. Can anyone confirm her birthdate? Stephe1987 07:57, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Well if you Google it [1] - there aren't any results saying February. JackO'Lantern 08:04, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
It's weird but she doesn't turn up at Ancestry.com's California listings. I'm guessing either her name / date / or place of birth are off. Mad Jack O'Lantern 07:52, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
Well, whoever said her birthday was not in January was quite right. Thanks to birth records, both that and her name have been confirmed. The date is May 17th. Mad Jack 02:08, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

She moved out?

How could she move out at fourteen? Isn't that illegal? Why sigh, cutie pie? 23:44, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

No, why should it be? —Nightstallion (?) 22:37, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, it's not ILLEGAL, but I guess I'm asking even if she got emancipated, how did she survive? Her parents were divorced, she wasn't exactly wealthy (unless I misread but the article doesn't mention it) and if you live on your own you still need a steady income -- pay the laundry and toilet bills, buy food, buy school supplies and clothes, etc. If she was only fourteen, how could she get a job? I thought you couldn't get a job until you were sixteen. Did she just take up some junky McDonald's shift to survive, until she graduated? Why sigh, cutie pie? 22:36, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
In Austria, it's legally possible to get court to separate you from your parents and to make the state your legal guardian, who would from then onwards provide for your shelter, nutritution and education until you're an adult. Maybe something similar was possible for her? —Nightstallion (?) 16:43, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Ashleigh Cullen: Yeah, she did move out at fourteen, it's not illegal in America and Britain, you can move out whenever! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashleigh Cullen (talkcontribs) 09:31, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

In the US you can get a job at fourteen. But, you can't move-out legally "whenever". I would be interested to learn more about this because it is unusual for someone so young to be emancipated. Achromasia (talk) 01:52, 27 December 2008 (UTC)Kassie Achromasia
I was told that you actually can move out whenever you want, at least here in California and I believe New York as well. The problem would be supporting yourself. How many kids in high school actually know how to cook, go grocery shopping, drive well, and on top of all that, are able to keep it all up and work a good eight or nine hours (sometimes overtime; with this kind of experience, I doubt it would be good pay either) five or six days a week? I still wonder how Reed did it. Los Angeles is mad expensive and our traffic has got to be one of the top three worst in the world. Dasani 05:16, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

she was imansipated. whitch means that it was a court case and was allowed by the judge that she could live on her own. Kelsi —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.242.65.96 (talk) 11:49, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

So the judge gave her all the money and stuff to support herself? I know, I just said, anybody could just move out, the problem is supporting yourself. Plus, emancipation is rarely ever granted. Dasani 00:03, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

When your emancipated I'm pretty sure you have to prove you're capable off taking care of yourself —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.103.108.216 (talk) 08:02, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Picture

I dont think the current picture is a particularly good representation of her. do we have any others?.--WhereTheLinesOverlapXX (talk) 16:12, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Because images that represent living people on Wikipedia must be under a free license. No free images of Reed exist. ~ ς ح д r خ є ~ 20:04, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

When you find an image, how can you tell is its free or not?--WhereTheLinesOverlapXX (talk) 21:37, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Also, im still not sure how to use the tables, so ill say it here for someone else, in the filmography table the entry for 'priveleged' should be under television, and needs a link to the page 'Privileged Tv Series'. --WhereTheLinesOverlapXX (talk) 21:42, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

If the image is free, they will state so on the image page or on Flickr it'll say "Some rights reserved". Also, I'll fix the Privileged thing. ~ ς ح д r خ є ~ 23:37, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
No, Privileged is a movie (see IMDb). Also, if someone issues a free image on their website, they'll usually link the Creative Commons website. ~ ς ح д r خ є ~ 00:00, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Contradiction

I might be making myself seem stupid here, but in her 'early life' section it says she was emancipated at 14, but in 'personal life' it says she was home-schooled. Isnt this a contradiction that cant be true, or is there information thats missing?--Stripy Socks (talk) 18:57, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
