Changed order of sections.

edit

The article contains a great deal of discussion that centres on Machiavelli's major works, but the information that was needed to comprehend that discussion had all been relegated to near the bottom of the article.

I have created a new section pertaining to his major works, and put them immediately under the biography.

And, I added th two relevant books to the list below, for completeness.

Furthermore, the leading paragraph has been slightly rearranged. I have made clear the exact and lasting nature of Machiavelli's importance.

The last two paragraphs of the introduction say basically the same thing, in two different ways. Someone who has a specific interest in this article needs to make their mind up as to which of these two statements is the most relevant and incorporate, or ditch the other. Minding the references, of course. The philosophy of power is not my subject, specifically, so I wont attemtp to make that decision.

OK, that's bold :). I don't see any problem with this at first sight. Will be interested to see what others think. I've tried to fix the intro problem you correctly picked up. Thanks. Let me know if that looks ok and clear? Any other remarks to work on?--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 20:52, 3 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
