Not very informative table edit
The article has got a nice looking table of isotopes, but it is not very informative and fairly confusing. Some isotopes have got different colour for some reason and there is an upper dashed line? Is there any figure text or link to the original? Yikkayaya (talk) 16:24, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
- The grey colour indicates stable isotopes. The other coloured squares are various relatively long lived isotopes. Isotopes above and to the right of the upper dashed line decay by proton emission. Most of the unstable isotopes between the two dashed lines decay by beta-minus or beta-plus decay; Be-8 decays to He-4+He-4, and is classified as an alpha-emitter. Confused subject edit
The lede and following table covers spontaneous neutron emission the ground states of proton-deficient nuclei. The article then wonders off into the weeds of neutron emission from excited states of other nuclei (more or less on topic) and neutron production in spontaneous and induced fission (not on topic), though a sentence and link at the end of the lede wouldn't go amiss.
