Paul Bunyan Statue description

It seems like the summary is about as long as the article. I'm curious what the summary field is for--for existing articles, shouldn't it be briefer, since folks can just click on the article if they want to know more? Katr67 (talk) 22:24, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

The article is a stub, or maybe just barely more. A well-developed NRHP article should be significantly longer than both the article-as-it-stands and the summary description in this list. So it seems to me your observation points to the need to expand the article more than the need to trim back the two sentences in this list. That said, I have no illusion that my writing (the summary in the list) is somehow above some good editing. So I will not protest if someone wants to make it more concise! —Ipoellet (talk) 02:53, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

I forked content about the PDX statue over to Paul Bunyan Statue (Portland, Oregon). ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:53, 18 July 2016 (UTC)

That's a good thing. I've been wanting to do that for a long time. — Ipoellet (talk) 04:07, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
Glad you approve! ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:14, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
