There is no National Library currently working in Cameroon (2019)

edit

Living in Cameroon for many years and working on the library sector I may confirm, that there is no National Library working in Cameroon currently. There is some place called "Centre de Lecture Publique" near the Lake quarter in Yaounde, which is sleeping result of a former French-Cameroonian reading project. But this can hardly be regarded as a National library. The former National Library with some 10.000 units has been closed around 2004. It is not known where their holdings are now. The building is now used as an state owned event location.
