Still operating? edit

"Skinwalker Ranch Uintah Basin, Utah

The Mystery: Its name may be a tongue-in-cheek twist on filmmaker George Lucas’s Skywalker Ranch, but this 480-acre compound in northeastern Utah is the site of many unexplained — and harrowing — incidents: roaring underground noises, the appearance of menacing blue orbs, attacks by shape-shifting beasts, and evidence of animal mutilations.

Fact: Purchased in 1994 by a couple looking to raise cattle and quickly put on the market two years later, the area—according to local Native American folklore—is legendary for its dark energies. The ranch is now managed by the National Institute for Discovery Sciences, a paranormal research organization." http://travel.yahoo.com/p-interests-25070286 makes it sound like they're still around?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Шизомби (talkcontribs) 03:10, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Website no longer online? edit

Though it was still online a few months ago, on February 25, 2010, the NIDS website could not be retrieved. A Google search for "national institute of discovery science" yielded only links to pages discussing NIDS, no link to NIDS itself. Evidently the website is no longer online. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.157.224.13 (talk) 00:49, 25 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I've corrected the website adress and it still has PDFs and stuff. http://www.nidsci.org/discovery-science/ ```

NIDS is now BAASS edit

Can someone please make a wiki page for BAASS? Nids is not defunct and has been replaced by BAASS or Aerospace Advanced Space Studies. This is the organization which currently owns and studies the skinwalker ranch. NIDS has been disbanded years ago and this article is serverly dated.~~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.90.87.53 (talk) 19:09, 7 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
