messed up formatting edit

Looks like a template usage is broken completely, and recent edits can't seem to agree on whether LBJ had something to do with this designation or not…? --Xblocks (talk) 00:40, 26 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

PR bulletin board edit

The sections on commemorations and events read like PR copy and an events calendar. They depend almost entirely on primary sources. Could we drop the sections completely, and save this article from turning into a bulletin board? Ibadibam (talk) 03:46, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

History: Original legislation edit

The text of the page says that Hispanic Heritage Month was established by legislation sponsored by Rep. Edward R. Roybal of Los Angeles, but this is misleading because H.R. 1299 was written and submitted by Rep. George Edward Brown, also from California. This is confirmed by the first link cited- history.house.gov. Kash254 (talk) 19:13, 13 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

History: Independence days edit

Chile does not celebrate its independence day on September 18th. It's on February 12th. September 18th marks the First Government Junta where Chileans governed themselves while Ferdinand VII was captive in Spain. Enrique Zuniga G (talk) 17:10, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
